For your reading pleasure, I present...How not to extend an invitation.

In a nutshell, rude, privileged white woman emails a woc (#1) asking her to forward an email to another woc (#2). The rude, privileged woman is from Feministe and she is inquiring whether the woc (#2) will be a guest blogger. WOC (#2) takes exception to the fact that rude, privileged white woman couldn't take the time to find out her email address and instead asks woc (#1) to forward the email to her. It's all played out in emails which are printed for everyone's embarrassment and enjoyment.

PS. Sometimes, an invitation is just an invitation and nothing more, so why get all worked up over nothing?

Sheesh.
